Grouper with Garlic Sauce is the first time we order in
Tivoli. Though grouper is chilled, it is unexpectedly bouncy and juicy.
Together with lemon juice and garlic mash on the surface, we appreciate
this grouper meat very much, irrespective it is a bit pricey.
Spaghetti
with Clam Sauce $82. The spaghetti is of course al dente, not oily and
has a nice flavor of fresh seafood (though the clam is locally sourced
in Hong Kong).
Tiramisu $48 is a must for us, and is of course
very tasty. It is airlifted (this photo is taken) from Bindi
http://www.bindidessert.it/index_ita.htm and served a bit colder than
usual. It is better to be shared. Tiramisu is a coffee and zabaione
cream on a layer of sponge cake soaked in espresso, dusted with cocoa
powder. Bindi dessert is also available in several hotels in Hong Kong.
Tivoli Italian Restaurant Tivoli意大利餐廳 G/F, 130 Austin Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Most
bloggers should have tried in Tivoli; it is a restaurant of long
(unknown) history and offering tasty Italian cuisine at reasonable price
(in view of food quality). Every time we visit, it must be full. The
ambiance is really quite Italian, but distance among tables is quite
Hong Kong style. There is a red candle for each table of diners.
We
order 4 items and 2 drinks, the bill is $490 (average per head $245).
We cannot say the food taste is heavenly tasty, it is already very good
in our experience and has a standard higher than quite a lot of hotel
restaurants. If the environment is more spacious, it would surely charge
higher.
Servers are quite nice and helpful. We really have not
encountered any rude manner this time and before, and would try its
pizza and snacks next time.
