Fried Duck in Yunnan Style 雲南炸鴨 is average in all aspects, including taste and meat texture. Improvement is needed.

Putting a piece of the above duck meat, cucumber and sauce onto the rice sheet.

Zhenjiang Pork

Stir-fried Kale is young and soft enough.

'Fried Spicy Chicken in Shanghai Style' (上海辣子雞) is not too spicy, though there are a lot of red chili.

'Fried Glutinous Rice Cake' is delectable. The brown sauce is very important in this dish. Rice cake is bouncy too.

'Vegetable
Rice in Clay Pot w/ Salted Pork' (咸肉菜飯) is one of the best dishes in
the meal. The taste is well-balanced and the pork is not too salty. We
like it very much.

Dining
in Wu Kong Shanghai Restaurant (WK) is always not a poor experience. It
is a restaurant serving above average Shanghai cuisine. Though it is
located in the basement, its dining experience is still not bad. Its
diners include people of different nationalities.
We order 6
dishes tonight. All dishes are different from what we ordered in the
first try. Except the first fried duck (which is only average in
quality), all other dishes are of good taste. This is the food standard
we expect from WK. Clay pot rice and fried glutinous rice cake are both
in high quality and can foster what the original Shanghai’s taste should
be. In careful dish selection, it would become a memorable dinner of
Shanghai cuisine. You are recommended to try in Wu Kong.
