Christmas decoration on the table is nice. Jam of four different flavours is served as well.
Homemade
Muesli is a Swiss item, made from diced melon, oat, raisin and milk.
The taste is exceptionally good, I like it very much. Because of its
name and appearance, other patrons should not be interested.
Salad is very fresh.
Carrot,
Grape Fruit and Orange Juice are served. Syrup should have been added
to orange juice, as its taste is a bit not normal and natural. But it is
not Mr. Juicy.
Tea and coffee. FYI, coffee is not so high in quality as we expect in the beginning.
Hams, smoked salmon and ... are available.
Buns
of western and eastern style are served with butter and cheese. FYI,
the Cha Siu Cake at the front is the best item among all dim sums in the
breakfast buffet.
Waffle and congee. We guess
with fun whether the rice is from Niigata of Japan, we are naive to
expect that the best rice in the world would also be served in this
superb hotel. It is of course 'NOT', we should have thought too much. We
also found that the congee should be boiled from cooked rice since the
texture is a bit different. Shredded chicken and dried scallop can be
found in the congee. Btw, waffle is not hot enough.
Steak,
grilled salmon, steamed shrimp dumpling, fried ricesheet roll, fried
vermicelli, pork sausage, cha siu bao and ... are available. There is no
outstanding item on this plate.
Six fruits are served.
We should be at a level similar to the top of Victoria Peak.
Overlook Sheung Wan and Sai Wan
On
102F, with high ceiling, impeccable view of Victoria Harbaour and Hong
Kong Island, and good service, though most foods are not outstanding, it
is still a very nice and relaxing breakfast buffet. It should be
regarded as value for money too.

It
is definitely a big attraction to most patrons in Hong Kong . The Lounge & Bar is
on the 102 floor of Ritz Carlton Hotel Hong Kong, overlooking the
spectacular view of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island . The ceiling
is very high. Servers are very professional and polite, but they never
overdo.
There are not too many patrons in the morning, most of
them are tourists. Maybe, the hotel has not mentioned breakfast is
available. Various kinds of food are served at the centre of the
restaurant, namely juice and milk, salad, cold cuts, omelet, congee, dim
sum, fruits, bread, and some hot dishes. In my opinion, variety is
sufficient for a breakfast buffet. On the other hand, food quality is
not correspondingly at a very high level. There is only limited number
of outstanding items. Basically there is no surprise at all. In view of
sky view and ambiance, it is still value for money.
