Fried Fish Fillet
It
is written as Sea Bream in the menu. The surface is a bit crisp as it is
freshly fried. It is quite spicy too. There are about ten pieces. Meat
texture is not good, the quality is lowered than our expectation.

Mussels,
cooked with butter and cream, is served in such a lovely small metallic
container. Mussle is not fresh enough. Cooking skill is also not
outstanding. It is a below average item. We are lucky to have ordered
two dishes which are not of high quality or simply are disappointing.

We are sorry that our mission is to enjoy the view of Victoria Harbour. Foods become side dishes.

Juice of Kiwi and Orange are not fresh.

There are not too many diners in the afternoon. Slash Bar can serve about 100 diners altogether.

Hotel Panorama

From the lobby of 38th floor, there is such a pictureque view.

At
the moment, a portion of Victoria Harbour is blocked by the building on
the right. Construction on the site of old New World Centre is
undergoing. This view must been blocked by a gravestone typed high-rise
cemented monster.

It is really stunning to have such a view.

It
is a nice and leisure experience to have tea on the 38th floor,
overlooking Victoria Harbour and buildings on the waterfront of Hong
Kong Island. At the moment, basically there is no large blockage of sea
view in front of Slash Bar. In a period of about 5 years, the view
should be blocked by the construction of buildings from the site of old
New World Centre.
We have no much expectation on food in Slash
Bar beforehand. It is evidenced and supported by the two dishes ordered.
They are at most average. Juices are not fresh, this is also in our
expectation. Even so, we do not have much disappointment since the view
from 38th floor is too spectacular that we enjoy the afternoon tea
period very much.
