This dish is ordered at last. Dish portion is normal but razor clam seems not fresh enough and there is an unpleasant smell that does not belong to razor clam. Of course, we have not finished this dish.
Steamed Fish is a very simple dish. With oil, soy sauce and preserved vegetable, it becomes a simple but delicious fish. Fish has to be fresh enough, this is the prerequisite. This is the best dish in the meal. It is a pity.
Fried Oyster in Claypot is a cheating dish. We have not eaten anything from this dish, this is the original appearance. From this photo, dish size is a bit small. To cook with large amount of green onion and ginger, this is a very standard cooking method in Hong Kong.
To have a close up, there is only one large piece of oyster. But the restaurant claims that all oysters are from the U.S. Altogether, there are only one large piece and four smaller pieces. These are all oysters we can find in this claypot, i.e. this means there are only 5 pieces of oyster in the claypot of about eighty dollars. We have a strong feeling of being cheated. Of course, the factor of inflation should also be considered. But in our mind, we are cheated maliciously. Because of this, Fat Kee is blacklisted.
Fried Razor Clam with Preserved Black Bean & Garlic Sauce.
Oil should be bought at low cost in Fat Kee. Surplus oil has been used to cook this vegetable.

We do not have very good experience in Fat Kee so far. This should be the last visit as it is difficult to always say ‘a must’ in our life. It should have a glorious history or story, but it does not mean that patrons should be tricked. We cannot accept and it is not possible to have five pieces of oyster in a dish selling at seventy eight dollars and only one piece is of large size. Apart from cheating and malicious intention, I really cannot think of other words to describe. Besides, Razor Clam is not fresh enough or something should have been added to prolong its life, resulting that there is a strange and abnormal taste. These are what I would like to record in this meal.
