Grilled Lates Calarifer is relatively large in size. The body is covered by salt, basil & lemongrass are inserted into the stomach before the fish is grilled. The Thail sauce is very important to further enhance the overall flavour.

Though the fish is covered by salt, the meat is not too salty at all. The meat in fact has nice flavour of herbs.
Besides, it is not dry but juicy and tender. This is the result of experience and skill.
Hainanese Chicken (half bird) is alluring in yellow colour. It is of course a chilled chicken.
The Thai sauce at the top of the picture is like a magic, to enhance the overall rating by at least one level upwards.

This should be the only Thai restaurant in the main street. It has the competitive advantage of its own. It can survive though it does not serve seafood as other restaurants in the same street do. It is a small restaurant, as usual; comfy dining environment should not be expected. Or, you will be disappointed. Apart from dining in a packed air-conditioned environment, you may select to dine alfresco, under a canopy, if you do not mind the high temperature.
We order grilled fish, Hainanese chicken and assorted vegetable. For Thai cuisine, besides that the cooking method and seasonings are different, its most impressive ingredient should be its sauces. Without those sauces, it is like a lady (man) with beautiful (handsome) face in plain clothes only. The overall performance cannot be enhanced to the greatest extent. This is applied to both fish and chicken in this meal. Particularly for the fish, it is grilled with skill and patience that it is very juicy and tender. We really appreciate it very much.
