Steamed Chicken (鹽水雞) is a bit not so delicious as before, as the meat texure is a bit tough this time. It is a bit disappointed.

Braised Chicken w/ Taro (芋頭雞煲)
Chicken meat in this dish is very good and it is tender enough. Taro is a best food material in winter. It absorbs the sauce and becomes very delectable and flavorful. FYI, taro is good for spleen and stomach.

Assorted Vegetables (雜菜煲)

Fried Squid w/ Chinese Yellow Chives (韭黃炒魷魚) is in fact a nice combination and the portion is quite generous. Squid is fresh and bouncy in texture.

Steamed Groupers (蒸石班仔)
They are very small in size.

Steamed Yellow Croackers w/ Preserved Bean Sauce (麵醬蒸獅子魚)
These two food materials are good companions. Preserved bean sauce is not too salty, it can enhance the flavour of fish meat.

We want to eat fish, chicken and vegetable this time, we would also like to know the effect of different various cooking methods and to savor the original flavor of food materials. We are delighted that overall quality is up to our expectation, we really do not have any disappointment. Chicken is fresh enough, resulting that the taste can be further enhanced and meat texture is bouncy enough. For fresh fish, steaming can highlight the freshness, and can fully please our taste bud in a decent manner. We are contented to have a meal again in Pak Kee.
