On Buddha Festival in May, we are pleased to have arranged a lunch meal in Chuk Lam Sim Yuen. The canteen is normally not opened to public. But in Buddha Festival and other special days, it is opened to the public. A table can serve a total of ten diners, with eight dishes.
All dishes are cooked with heart, some are particularly delicious. But the best vegetarian food is offered not by this Chuk Lam Sim Yuen, but the Lo Hon Temple in Tung Chung, imho. Dish portion is large enough for a table of ten adults. Plain rice is cooked to perfection. It is anyway a nice experience to try the vegetarian food in Chuk Lam Sim Yuen.
