
Autumn season is here once again, let's listen to the sound of the Autumn wind.
It is also the season to eat, there are too many delicacies in Autumn. Please fasten your seatbelt and share with you in my gastronomic journey.
'Water Caltropand Pork in Soup' is a Chiu Chowdish. The hard shell of water caltrop has all been removed. The texture is like potato. We are pleased to try this traditional Chiu Chow dish.

Braised Fish Maw w/ Luffa

Fish is braised with Chinese celery and minced pork. This is a standard portion and there are five pieces of fish only. The use of Chinese celery is to enhance the taste and ensure that there is no trace of fishiness.

Fried Mussel w/ Basil. This mussel is available in summer time. Basil is to enhance the fresh taste and ensure that no trace of fishiness is available.
The size is very small. The edible portion is of one to one point five centimetre. The correct method is to eat those mussels at the bottom, ensuring that mussel and sauce are eaten together.

Chicken, goose and squid are also available. But we have not ordered this time.

We always have the thinking in mind that we have to order something different in Shun Kee next time. We therefore have not repeated the dishes in our dinner tonight. We order four dishes only. All are very tasty and are authentic Chiu Chow dishes.
