Toast w/ Condensed Milk and Butter. This is a very very average toast, to be very very lenient, mainly because the bread itself is low-priced and is of low quality. But we still finish the toast.
Red Bean Ice and Hot Holick's. Red Bean Ice is a bit too sweet.
Mandarin Cafe (this name is recorded in the business licence at the cashier) is situated on the ground floor of an old building. The ceiling is relatively high. Even though it is full, the cafe is not too noisy. It should be a cafe with history and of popularity in the past. But I cannot ascertain whether it was a cafe of high class.
It is of course a cafe for retrospect, in view of the layout, chairs, tablewares and ... .

We pass by Hung Hom this afternoon and notice there is an old café. Though we are not hungry, we still want to experience and have a light afternoon tea in this old café. Mandarin Café is not a café in Mandarin Hotel, Central. It is in fact an old café on the ground floor of an old residential building in Hung Hom.
We are allotted to a table for two, and order drinks and toast. Average spending is about $20 only. Though the toast and drinks are of average quality, it is surely a good experience in Mandarin Café this afternoon. It is not expected that diners in the afternoon are not only those oldies, but also youngsters and students. I am afraid they also want to have an experience in an old fashioned café.
I do not know whether other foods and drinks are better in taste and quality. But it is surely a good experience to dine in Mandarin Café. We should pay regular visit in order that this oldie can be in operation in the time to come.
