This is the phenomenon at dinnertime.
Broccoli with Egg Yolk and Crab Meat
"Fried Pickled Cabbage with Sliced Cuttle Fish" is unexpectedly tasty.
Roasted Oyster with Port
Pan Fried Shrimp with Soy Sauce is delicious but too common.
Roasted Chicken with Red Bean Cheeseis not too special.
The Jelly Fish in "Suckling Pig with Jelly Fish"is delectable.
Braised Black Mushroom with Pea Shoot
Fried Eel with Preserved Black Bean and Green Pepper
Crab Meat with Bean Curd Sheet & Vegetable in Soupshould be deleted in your next dinner.
Plain rice with lard and soy sauceis a must to eat. Lard and soy sauce have not yet been added. Sorry.
Though each table would order "Sweet Ceam Bun", it is only average to me.
Needless to say, Steamed Sponge Cake is a must to order. It can be regarded as one of the signature items in Tai Wing Wah. The appearance is too alluring.

Tai Wing Wah Village cuisine is quite famous in Hong Kong. No matter whether you were foreigners or not, it is still suggested to have a try. If we do not try in this newly opened Tai Wing Wah, it seems that the dining experience is not complete. We then plan to dine in Tai Wing Wah Village Cuisine in Kowloon Bay two weeks before. We have totally 9 persons, and we can try more dishes. It is hoped that the experience in Kowloon Bay is also as good as that in Yuen Long. Some arrive at 1830, we still need to wait for one hour before a table is allotted to us.
The price in Tai Wing Wah is undoubtedly quite cheap in comparison with those in other Chinese restaurants. We order 11 dishes and 9 bowls of plain rice. Free dessert is included. Since a friend has VIP card, tea charge is waived. The bill is $613 (average per head $70).
Though Tai Wing Wah is famous for its long queue, the food quality is above average only. In view of the average spending, it is still value for money. Our conclusion is that the taste in Kowloon Bay is not so good as that in Yuen Long.
Since there are still too many customers outside the restaurant, the waitress would take away the nearly-empty dishes as soon as possible. Basically their manner is very good, and we do not have any bad experience. We understand they would like to push us to leave earlier. Anyway, we have an enjoyable dinner for two hours and exchange information of our recent happenings.
