Lassie – Sweet $20 and Mango Lassie $22 are good to eat with spicy foods. Both are tasty.

Papadam - a crisp wafer of mixed pulse flour $3. The 2 pastes are delicious. The brown is mango paste, white mint paste.

Butter Chicken $60 is in alluring appearance; there are 2 big pieces of chicken. It is of course a good match with naan or rice.

Fish Signal $58 – fish (Sole) cooked with spinach and spices is the first time to order. The fish is nearly completely immersed in green spinach paste. This is a strange food appearance in Chinese foods. It is a good introduction by the waitress.

If we do not order Garlic Jeer Prawn $64, the whole meal will end with good memory. The prawn is a frozen one and is too bouncy. It is not frensh in our sense. It seems that we expect too much. Sorry for the greed, we should order mutton instead.

Garlic Nan $16 – we order one piece only and no rice, in order that we can try more other dishes. It is soft and hot.

Restaurant is of Indian Style and nicely decorated. Soft Indian music is played in the restaurant.

We passed by the restaurant one day and it was full house. This is the only reason for us to choose Chilies Garden tonight. It is not exactly in King’s Road, but inside a small shopping area. Restaurant is of Indian Style and nicely decorated. Waitress and waiter are Indian of good appearance and nice manner. They are capable to speak in English and Cantonese. Soft Indian music is played in the restaurant.

When we ask the handsome waiter what the signature items are. After a while, the pretty waitress introduces us to order “Butter Chicken $60”, “Fish Signal $58” and Garlic Nan $16. We also order 2 drinks, namely Lassie – Sweet $20 and Mango Lassie $22. When we nearly finish the above, we additionally order “Garlic Jeer Prawn $64” in order to try more items in the same meal. The bill is $255 (average per head $128).

Food taste is good. We of course can state our preference of Hot, Medium or Mild spiced food in ordering. Except the prawn is a frozen one, its texture is not good in our sense. The waitress informs us that the foods here are typical Indian style and have not yet been localized. All others are good. It is worthwhile to visit again.

Service: 4/5
Price: 3.5/5
Food: 4/5  (it should be less than 4/5 as the prawn which is frozen one is not fresh enough in our sense. It is should be “fresh” in Indian point of view, where cities are far away from sea)
Environment: 3.5/5
Variety: 4/5
Hygiene: 4/5
Overall: 4/5
P.S. The restaurant Chinese name is good when we play mahjong.
