'Braised
Goose with Taro' is served in big claypot. There is 1/4 piece of goose
in this pot and the goose is fresh (not chilled). Each piece of goose
meat has fully absorbed the tasty sauce.
'Beancurd Sheet Rolls' is stuffed with carrot, mushroom, shrimp and others.
Cold
Fresh Abalone ($55 per piece) is served with soy sauce and wasabi. Each
piece is further cut into three to four smaller pieces. It is not
tough, but chewy. We can still taste the sweetness and flavour of
abalone. Abalone is quality and it is a quality dish.
'Rice w/ Preserved Sausages in Claypot' is a must-try item in Great China.
Each
piece of rice has been cooked to perfection , together with warbar,
spring onion and tasty sweet soy sauce. We each have eaten at least two
bowls of rice. It is cooked with a lot of spring onion, i am afraid it
is not suitable for those who do not like spring onion.

We
seldom dine in Cheung Sha Wan, we have a chance today. It is a
restaurant serving Chinese dishes. Strictly speaking, it should be
categorized to be a tai pai dong. There is no interior design in the
restaurant. Dish photos on sticker are the decoration on the wall. The
restaurant itself is in fact irregular-shaped. Comfortable dining
environment should not be expected. The floor is not slippery or wet,
and there is no special unpleasant smell.
Basically,
there is no need to read the menu. Most signature items can be seen on
the wall. We guess there are about 20 signature dishes altogether. We
order 5 items and the average spending is about one hundred and forty.
We can only conclude that food quality and taste are very good, to an
extent that it is inversely proportional to the restaurant outlook. They
cook all dishes with heart and their cooking skill has to be
appreciated. If we do not have a try this time, it would be our regret
to miss this hidden treasure. You are recommended to try as soon as
possible. I am afraid the queue will be getting longer and longer.
