Pat Chun was founded in 1932, it is 83 years old in 2015. It was originally a grocery store in Mongkok, the factory was also in Mongkok. To cope with increasing business, the factory was relocated to Kwai Chung and Sai Kung in late 1950s and 1965 respectively. Its signature slogan in Chinese is "八珍甜醋份外香', which means that the sweetened vinegar of Pat Chun is exceptionally delicious and fragrant.
This is the flagship store in Mongkok. At present, there are totally four shops in Hong Kong.
Pat Chun's signature sweetened vinegar and soy sauce become a mainstay in many Hong Kong households and gain a reputation for superior quality and taste.
Before Chinese New Year, a lot of fans must flock to Pat Chun to buy New Year cakes and other snacks.
