Modern Watch Company was opened in 1986, until it moved to a new address nearby in 2014, the shop in Pokfulam Road had been operating for 28 years. Mr. Cheung is the shop owner, selling and repairing watch and clock. Later, it also provided service of key duplication.
Before the closure, in order to reduce the stock value and Mr. Cheung did not know whether he could find a new address at accepted price, most items in the shop were at special price, like at 50% off.
It is a local watch shop, as usual, all items were displayed in the best possible and available manner.
Watch repair service is available. But nowadays, if a watch is out of order, most people would throw it away and buy a new one.
Shoe repair service is available, in order to generate more income.
In late 2014, Modern Watch Company was moved to a shop at First Street, just several shops away from the old address.
