Lung Tin Study Hall was constructed in 1926, it is 89 years old in 2015. It was the only study hall in Lung Tin Village, providing education to children of nearby villages. It was a residence in 1984, and became vacant thereafter. It is a two-storey construction.
At the top of the main entrance, it is decorated with sculptures. But the colours have been faded.
'1926' was engraved near the top of the house.
This signage should be kept with the best quality.
There are detailings above each window.
The detailings and constructions on the top of the study hall can still be noticed.
A pity is that at the back of the study hall, it was damaged by graffiti.
We can see clearly the design at the roof top.
The study hall was graded as Grade II Historic Building. It has not be furbished for many years, resulting that it looks a bit shabby. Together with the graffiti, it is definitely a sad experience to see a Grade II Historic Building to be damaged in such a way.
