Kam Wah Cafe is one of the eateries in Ping Shek Estate. It does not have any relation with the cha chaan teng / cafe of the same name in Mongkok.
It occupies two units on the ground floor. It should be a large cha chaan teng in the past and nowadays.
The setting is very localized, with bench, wooden chair and menus on the all.
It is different from other cha chaan teng, it should be a restaurant in the post. It has a separate menus, besides the menus of this picture and those posted on the wall. Please pay attention to the front cover design of the menu.
Fried rice and instant noodle are also available. Pricing is reasonable.
Just to have a break. This glass of ovaltine is very thin, at HK$14.
The floor tiles of 1980s. Even though cafe is old, it does not have an old small. This means management of the cafe, particularly in hygiene area, is very good.
