Nam Cheong Pawn Shop 南昌押 @ Shamshuipo 深水埗

Nam Cheong Pawnshop is located at the junction of Nam Cheong Street and Yu Chau Street (南昌押) in Shamshuipo.

It was a construction of 1920s, it has a history of about 90 years in 2015. Owner of the building is Ko's Family (高可寧家族), they are in pawn business for a long time in Hong Kong.

It is an arcade contruction of Guangzhou style. It is a building of five storeys. There is no illegal construction on the top floor. One circular window can be found on the body of each floor. The total floor area is about 800 square feet. The building was graded as Grade II Historical Construction in 1999 and Grade III in 2010.

Horizontal extrusion lines can be found on each floor. Besides there is also a cement plain signage extrusion with the shop name in Chinese characters on both sides of the building.

After the transaction, both parties become happy.

It is just at a level that you cannot see the customer inside the shop.
