Apart from the section near Nathan Road which is more related to eateries and night clubs, this section of Soy Street is not related to the retail of consumer products. They are mainly the suppliers of industrial materials and tools, like ironware, canvas and mechanical bearing.

Height of building is getting shorter, this implies the age of buildings towards Ferry Street (渡船街) is much older. The buildings are of six to ten storeys, some may have more than sixty years history and may not be equipped with lifts. In fact, this can be deduced from the appearance and design of building, to a certain extent. Though this section of Soy Street does not relate to the general public daily life, the shops here are all in business during daytime, they should also have quite good business.

Walking around on this section of Soy Street, it seems to have visited another city which is also called Hong Kong. It is time to learn more about another part of Hong Kong, apart from Central, Causeway Bay and Tsimshatsui.
