Pan Hoi Street is a short street in Quarry Bay, between King’s Road (英皇道) and Westlands Road (華蘭路).
Along the street, apart from the two commercial buildings (Warwick House and Cornwall House) near Westlands Road, they are 18 blocks of history more than fifty years, they are of eight storeys to twenty five storeys, erected in 1959, 1960, 1964 and 1965. From the location in Quarry Bay, these 18 blocks should have sea view before the reclamation of Taikoo Place.
Some units in 24-94 Pan Hoi Street have been purchased gradually by developers since 2007. Purchase price of saleable area was about four thousand per square feet in 2007 to ten thousands in 2014. It therefore takes many years to redevelop a district or several buildings. Maybe, 15 years should be considered a short time.
