New Lucky House is located at the junction of Nathan Road and Jordan Road in Yaumatei, Kowloon.
It is a building constructed in April 1964, it is 50 years old in 2014. New Lucky House is like a trapezoid cylinder, because Nathan Road and Jordan Road do not intersect at right angle to each other. The area of trapezoid is the smallest among the four in the road junction.
Even though it is a cylinder-like building, similar to other buildings constructed at that time, there are more details on the outer wall. There are upright and inverted green triangle paintings on the wall below windows of each floor. It is these triangles making the building different from others. It seems that there is no similar pattern in other buildings in Hong Kong.
Since the location of New Lucky House is very convenient, it is exactly above MTR Jordan Station, it is welcome by locals and businessmen. The usable area of each unit is about six hundred square feet. Besides residential units, there are also hostels (there are at least ten hostels), and clinics. New Lucky House
