Mei Wah Building is a 14-storey building on Johnston Road, opposite to Tai Yau Building (大有大廈).

It should have been built for about fifty years, judging from its design and appearance.

After checking for a while, it has 51 years’ history.

Mei Wah is bounded by Triangle Street (三角街), Johnston Road, Wan Chai Road (灣仔道).

Altogether, there are 80 residential units. Same as Man On Building on Wan Chai Road, the top several floors of Mei Wah are in trapezoidal shape.

The eastern portion of Mei Wah is in triangular shape because Wan Chai Road and Johnston Road are not perpendicular to each other.

Mei Wah has been painted in khaki colour recently, its appearance is still intact and in good condition.
Since it is a building of 50 years, we can see the names of different companies and bodies on the wall of the building facing Johnston Road, like doctor, clinic and hostel. Mei Wah Building
