Lun Fat Street is a short street in Wan Chai, with 24
street numbers. It connects Johnston Road (莊士敦道) and Queen’s Road East
(皇后大道東). On the street, there are a Bauhinia Garden (洋紫荊園) and a small
sitting-out area.
The building on the right is Johnston Court (莊士敦大樓).
The building on the left, beside the green Cheong Fat Building, is Luen Fat Mansion (聯發大廈).
On street number 12 to 24, it is Cheong Fat Mansion
(昌發大樓), which has been demolished completely in 2014.
At the time of taking photo in February 2014, it was vacant.
This is Cheong Fat Mansion, it is no longer in existence.
It has been purchased by a listed company – Vanke
Property at HK$8.6B (HK$13.6K per square feet in April 2014). Expected
price of new flat on the same site will be HK$25K per square feet.
