At the back, it is the Clock Tower at Tsim Sha Tsui Pier.

The Kirin dancing figures is a part of the Lantern Show of Lantern Festival (2014) organized by the Cultural Centre. They take this opportunity to introduce other traditional Chinese paper crafting technique in the making of Kirin dancing figures.

There are three dancing figures from different regional style, namely Hakka (客家), Dongguan (東莞) and Hailufeng (陸海豐). In the middle, there is a large three-layer lantern made from bamboo strip. The lantern is in hexagonal shape, with height of about three meters. Since kirin is an auspicious animal symbol in Chinese culture, it is hoped that all visitors (and blogmates) can share the good luck.
