Hung Shui Kiu Temporary Market is a one-storey construction.
Basically it has one roof only, thereby enhancing light
penetration and ventilation. In the market, beef, pork, vegetable,
seafood, fish, fruit and dried products are available. Since for most
food items, there is only one stall.
Competition is not enough. But this is inevitable. The market is maintained in good quality, at least, there is not special disgusting smell, and the floor is not slippery and dirty.
As usual, for most government markets, no matter whether they are temporary or not, the occupancy rate is very low. It is a waste of resources and place. It does not mean it is must be the wrong of the government. Therefore, the existence of this temporary market is needed, for saving time and resource.
