St. Francis Xavier’s College is an aided catholic secondary school in Tai Kok Tsui, Kowloon. It was established in 1955, it is fifty-nine years old in 2014. The size of campus is about 3,300 square meters. It is a boy school, welcome by parents and students, mainly because of its relatively good public examination results.
The school is a construction of five storeys in a distorted rectangular shape, this was the typical height for schools built at that time. A playground is in the middle of the construction. It should be a ‘tall’ building along the coast of reclaimed Kowloon. The wall colour is green on grey background. Even though it is nearly sixty years old, it is still kept in very good condition. Of course, this is the result of regular maintenance. It should be able to survive for upcoming fifty years.
