Ng Wah is located at the junction of Choi Hung Road and Prince Edward Road East (太子道東) in San Po Kong, Kowloon. It was founded in 1965 by Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong. The school was completed in 1966, the building is 48 years old in 2014. Ng Wah is the father’s name of the donor – Mr. Ping Kin. Ng Wah Catholic Secondary School is a boys’ school, its primary school is a co-ed.

The building is in the form of an ‘E’ shape and of 7 storeys. In the 'E' shape, the upper portion is primary school, while the lower portion is secondary school. The middle portion is the church and school hall. Similar to other schools in Hong Kong, after regular renovation and repainting of outer wall, it seems to be a new school of bright and sharp colours.
