Strolling around Yuen Long, a grey building of three
storeys is found. It occupies at least eight street numbers. Sometimes, I
really do not know how the numbers run. It is special in the sense that
there are only two buildings for all the numbers mentioned before. It
is three-storeyed and is very short in height. It should be built fifty
years before.
This 31-45 Yuen Long Tai Cheung Street is bounded by three streets, namely Yuen Long On Lok Road (元朗安樂路), Yuen Long Tai Cheung Street and Yuen Long Tung Tai Street (元朗東堤街). I really do not understand why the streets in this area of Yuen Long are all named with Yuen Long. At least six streets in this area are named with Yuen Long. Maybe, it is more convenient for postal service.
Returning back to the building, a balcony guarded by
glasses is on the second floor. There is also special cement pattern on
the roof. All these are not commonly found again in new buildings.
These two buildings should also be the target of developers, as the view in the front has not been blocked by other buildings. But the site area is not very large and it is a bit narrow or long. Anyway, maybe, these buildings will disappear in a couple of years.
