No. 1235 Canton Road is an individual building of three storeys. It is located at the junction of Lai Chi Kok Road (荔枝角道) and Prince Edward Road West (太子道西).

It was built in 1930s, before the Second World War. On 22 January 2010, it was declared as Grade III Historic Buildings in Hong Kong. Originally, it should be a cluster of three similar blocks in Number 1231, 1233 and 1235 Canton Road. But No. 1231 and 1233 were demolished in 1960. No. 1235 is the only remaining construction.

From the construction appearance, even though it has a history of 83 years, the building still looks good and the structure is intact. The details and original decorations can still be seen in 2014. This is a proof of how good and frank the constructors of the past are. It should also be the result of regular renovations.

For the top decoration, numerical digit '930' can still be clearly seen. Originally, it should be '1930' which is the year of construction.

This is the staircase, it is taken from the main entrance.
