3L Band 3L 樂隊 @ Mongkok 旺角

Band 3L (3L樂隊) was established and started their public performance in Mongkok Kowloon in May 2011. 3L means the three partners, namely Lam Sir, Wai gor (William) and Ah Lam, since all their surnames start with 'L'.

Their fans started a page of 3L in Facebook and they had Spring gathering dinner in early 2012 by having 20+ tables (of 12 persons each) in a Chinese restaurant. 3L had been interviewed by magazine and TV station. They are getting popular and welcome by fans and general public. The only reason for being popular is that they are professional, in playing live music and singing songs of 70 and 80s. http://zh-hk.facebook.com/ mongkok3L

Ah Lam is one of the two main singers in Band 3L. The other is Wai Gor.
Apart from being their hobby of playing music and singing in the street, they can also earn their living. This makes both ends meet.

They play at Sai Yeung Choi Street South on Thursday, Friday and Saturday or .. , from 19:00 to 22:00 (tbc).
