Aberdeen Market is located at lower floors of Aberdeen Municipal Services Building.
Aberdeen Municipal Services Building (香港仔市政大廈) is in the Southern District of Hong Kong. It is a multipurpose municipal building. It was in service in March 1983. The whole building cost HK$41M, it was the first municipal services building in Hong Kong. It is a 6-storey building with wet markets, public library, government offices, sports centre and other facilities. Its address is No. 203 Aberdeen Main Road.
On the basement and first floor, they are Aberdeen market. The stalls on the basement sell vegetables, fish and other wet items. On the first floor, the stalls sell dried items and meat. Totally, there are 336 stalls in the market. Cooked food centre is on the second floor and public library the third floor.
There are many stalls selling fresh fish, I do not know whether it is close to the Wholesale Fish Market in Aberdeen. But, according to different surveys, this market is the most expensive market in Hong Kong.
There are also many stalls selling fruits and vegetables.
