Founded by some fishermen, Aberdeen Tin Hau Temple was built in 1851. Local fishermen built this temple to pray for protection from Tin Hau. In 2014, it has a history of 163 years. The temple, rebuilt in 1999, is graded as Grade III Historic Building. It was originally facing the sea. After repeated reclamation, it is now surrounded by buildings.
This bell bronze was cast in 1726.

There are two different donation boxes inside the temple.

Pillars inside and outside the temple have different design.
It is managed by the Chinese Temples Committee.
