Sham Shui Po Tin Hau Temple (深水埗天后廟) is located at the junction of Kweilin Street (桂林街) and Yee Kuk Street (醫局街) in Kowloon. It occupies a large piece of land in Sham Shui Po. The main chamber is also very large in size. The location of most Tin Hau Temple was near the waterfront. This was also applied to Sham Shui Po Tin Hau Temple. This temple was constructed in 1901. Also because of urban development, it is now in the middle of a concrete jungle. The temple is symmetrical, with side halls on both sides.

Address: No. 180-184, Yee Kuk Street, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon, Hong Kong. 九龍深水埗醫局街180-184號 (about 8 minutes by walk from MTR Sham Shui Po Station Exit C2)
Opening hours: 08:00-17:00

Chinese characters in golden colour were engraved on the rock.

Since they were built during the same period, Sham Shui Po Tin Hau Temple and the one at Tin Hau Temple Road are very similar in appearance. Although there are regular renovations (the last renovation was in 1990), the outlook at the front remains unchanged. This gives an impression that the temple should have experienced a period of about 100 years.

The main chamber is quite roomy.

Apart from Tin Hau - the goddess of the sea, other deities are also worshiped in the temple. There are not too many followers this afternoon.

Roof structure and decorations are similar to those in other Chinese temples in Hong Kong.
