Same as many other streets in Hong Kong, Yiu Wa Street is originally a relatively unheralded street in Causeway Bay www.isletforum.com . This cluster of six-storey old buildings is the evidence.
No lift is available in these old buildings. From number 2 to 38, the even numbers of the street are mainly old buildings. In other words, they have not yet been demolished in 2014. Or, they are waiting for demolition.
Because of limited space in the street, street lamp is attached to the outer wall above the second floor.
The shops on the ground floor are bars, boutiques and eateries.
This direction is to Matheson Street, leading to Times Square.
It starts at Canal Road East. This caffe kennon in this address is no longer available in 2014.
Yiu Wa Street is very close to Times Square and Happy Valley.
Within several years, there will be a great change in Yiu Wa Street. It is heard that www.isletforum.com some old buildings have already been purchased by developers. These old buildings can only be seen again in pictures.
