Golden Computer Arcade (黃金電腦中心) is
one of the famous shopping centres of computers and accessories.
Located at Upper Ground & Lower Ground, 146-152 Fuk Wah Street, Sham
Shui Po, Kowloon (九龍深水埗福榮街146-152號地下及地庫), it should be the oldest
shopping centre of computer and accessories. Please do not mix up with
Golden Shopping Centre (高登電腦中心), which is also a shopping centre of computer and accessories on
the same building, but it is on the first floor. These two shopping
centres on the same building are not connected.
If it is a
must to distinguish these two shopping centres, Golden Computer Arcade
is more on computer softwares, while Golden Shopping Centre on
hardwares. In the past, the location of Golden Computer Arcade was a
shopping centre of fashion distribution. In 1980s, because of the
development of electronic products, the shopping centre was changed into
a shopping centre of computer and accessories. Owing to market needs
and the popularity of Golden Computer Arcade, more similar shopping
centres can be found in Sham Shui Po and other districts in Hong Kong.
This is the junction of Fuk Wing Street (福榮街) and Kweilin Street (桂林街).

Golden Computer Arcade is accessible by
MTR. The shortest distance is from MTR Sham Shui Po Station Exit D2. It
takes one minute only. Operation hours: 10:00-22:00 daily.
