Kai
Kung Leng, at the north western part of Hong Kong, is a group of two
hills in Yuen Long, between Castle Peak Road and Fan Kam Road. Being a
part of Lam Tsuen Country Park, it is a high land (highest point is 585 metres), in comparison with the vicinity of Kam Tin, Pat Heung and
Nam Sang Wai, as shown in the map below. It is one of the best
locations to enjoy sunset in Hong Kong.
By public transport, it is needed to take Minibus Route 63 from Yuen
Long Station (Exit G1) and get off at Basketball Playground of Fung Kat
Heung (it takes about ten minutes). The whole trip takes about three
hours.
We start to walk upwards.
Sun hat, umbrella or sun block lotion should be prepared.
The difficulty is at most three stars.
Umbrella is needed.
A tripod is needed to occupy the best available location.
The sky and Kam Tin River are all stained.
Nam Sang Wai is in the middle. For more photos of Nam Sang Wai, please

Mai Po Nature Reserve is at the top right.
Nice sunset view can also be found in Hong Kong.
