Hung Shing Street Rest Garden
Though it is called Hung Shing Street Rest Garden, it is in fact not connected to Hung Shing Street at all. It is connected to Wai Fung Street (惠風街). But next to The Rest Garden, there is a Hung Shing Temple.
The Garden is in the form of an L-shape. In the middle, there is a pavilion and a tall old banyan tree.
The Garden is basically in green colour, in different green colours. It is calm and comfortable to walk around.
This is the central pavilion mentioned before.
It is replaced by two new taps with both cold and hot water, in 2015.
A small natural hill in the shape of an egg is called the Fung Shui Egg of Apleichau.

The small egg now becomes a part of Hung Shing Street Rest Garden.
Along the sea shore on the north of Apleichau, a large and long piece of land is used for leisure and recreation purposes. In Hong Kong, it is not a must to find park with green trees and plants in each district. www.isletforum.com When I notice there is such a large piece of green land in Apleichau, it is really a gift to the dwellers in Apleichau. They should fully utilize this lovely green land. Residents of other districts must envy them a lot.
