Causeway Bay Walkway (銅鑼灣行人天橋)
should be one of the landmarks in Causeway Bay, beside Sogo Department
Store and Times Square. It is located at the junction of Yee Wo Street
(怡和街), Sugar Street (糖街) and Pennington Street (邊靈頓街), connecting the
pavements of all these three streets and also the tramway station in Yee
Wo Street.
The most prominent specialty of this walkway is its
circular shape, its pink colour and its M-shaped pattern on the main
part of the walkway. At night, the walkway is like a shining ring and
can highlight the prosperity of Hong Kong.
It connects the tramway station in Yee Wo Street.
This walkway enhances the smooth traffic passage on Yee Wo Street and also the safety of pedestrians.
The M-shaped pattern is very prominent.
