So Kwun Tan Village (掃管灘村) is a small village in So Kwun Wat. There are totally 12 houses in the village. Some houses were built by wooden material. Or, are the ones in the above photo illegally constructed? So Kwun Tan Village is in fact behind So Kwun Wat Kwan Tai Temple (掃管笏關帝廟).
Behind So Kwun Wat Kwan Tai Temple (掃管笏關帝廟), it is So Kwun Tan Village.
Some were built by cement. There is a car repair on the left, which is not included in this photo.
It is on the right of this water channel, which delivers excess water from Tai Lam Chung Reservoir (大欖涌水塘).
The village on the right of this water channel is Ka Wo Li Village (嘉和里村), which is larger in size than So Kwun Wat Village.
At the back, it is Aegean Coast (愛琴海岸), a private housing estate opposite to Gold Coast (黃金海岸).
Some houses are quite old in appearance.
