Aberdeen South Typhoon Shelter and Sham Wan are on the south of Wong Chuk Hang (黃竹坑) and on the east of Apleichau (鴨脷洲).

To compare with its front, it is the contrast of hell and heaven.
The four yellow blocks is Boardview Court (雅濤閣). On its front, the white block is the Marine Police Aberdeen Base.
Along the shore of both Sham Wan and Apleichau, there are some shipyards.
The number of shipyards in Sham Wan and Aberdeen South Typhoon Shelter should be the largest in Hong Kong.

In the evening, with golden colour, the typhoon shelter is particularly charming.
