Nai Wai is in North-eastern Tuen Mun, also known as Wong
Kong Wai (黃崗圍). It is an indigenous village, with walls enclosing the
whole village in the past. Nai Wai in Chinese '泥圍' is written on the front of the memorial arch, facing Castle Peak Road - Lam Tei (青山公路-藍地段).
It is Wong Kong Wai '黃崗圍' on the back.
There are two stone lions in front of the memorial arch. The village may be quite rich, in the past.
This village office is a three storey
construction. The whole building is in brown colour, it is sharp and
eye-catching.

It should be a local restaurant serving dim sums in the morning? or in the past?.
Nai Wai is an old village in Tuen Mun. Originally there were walls enclosing the whole village. It is a playground and soccer pitch in front of the main entrance.
In the course of time, only this main entrance of the walled village is kept in 2015. But it is still in good condition.
A wooden ladder is connected to the mezzanine level. It should now be a place for storing miscellenous items.
This is the alley inside the walled village.
This structure is not easy to build again in Hong Kong. It is also a proof of its age.
The nearest Light Rail Station is Nai Wai Station (泥圍站).
