Miu Fat Buddhist Monastery (妙法寺), founded in 1960, is a Buddhist monastery located in Lam Tei, Tuen Mun District, Hong Kong. Based on the principle of practising mercy, it has been actively organizing activities to promote Buddhism as well as education, culture, charity and welfare for years.
The Mahavira Hall, located on the top storey of the Ten Thousand Buddhas Hall, has a floor height of about 20 metres. It is opened to the public. You are advised to walk upstairs, to have a look of the Mahavira Hall. It is grand and solemn. On the platform, you have to walk in clockwise direction, to admire the scenery of Lam Tei and Tuen Mun.
This is the main entrance to Miu Fat Buddhas Monastery, there is also a side entrance.
You have to do more virtuous act and less wicked act. This is Buddhism.
Ten Thousand Buddhas Hall (萬佛寶殿), a three-storey construction, was rebuilt in 1973 and finished in 1980. It took six years to complete.

There are many beautiful flowers on the ground floor. Please do not miss.
It is also accessible by Light Rail (the closest station is Lam Tei) and B2 from Shenzhen.
