Death of Kim Jong-Il (金正日 김정일) on 17 December 2011
It is reported in the morning of 19 December 2011 by North Korea National TV News that the North Korean Leader - Mr. Kim Jong-Il (金正日 김정일), at the age of 69, died on 17 December 2011 during a travel on a train outside the capital Pyongyang. His designated successor is believed to be his third son, Kim Jong-un, who is thought to be in his late 20s. A funeral for Kim Jong-il will be held in Pyongyang on 28 December 2011.
It is anticipated that there will be huge shock waves across North Korea and Northeast Asia, and hoped that it will be a chance for the North Korean citizens to start a new life. Maybe, I am thinking too much.
