現時六所自資院校，包括珠海學院、香港恒生大學、香港樹仁大學、香港都會大學丶東華學院及職業訓練局轄下的香港高等教育科技學院，均獲國家教育部批准招收內地生入讀副學士課程、銜接課程、全日制學士學位課程及研究院課程，大多限制人數於上學年相關課程總人數的一成，研究院課程則不設限額。

Insufficient enrollment in self-funded colleges rescues themselves in mainland market
At present, six self-financing institutions, including Chu Hai College, Hong Kong Hang Seng University, Hong Kong Shue Yan University, Hong Kong Metropolitan University, Tung Wah College and Hong Kong Higher Education Institute under the Vocational Training Council, have been approved by the Ministry of Education to recruit mainland students. For associate degree programs, bridging programs, full-time bachelor's degree programs and postgraduate courses, most of them limit the number of students to 10% of the total number of relevant courses in the previous academic year, while postgraduate courses do not set a limit.
