In the past, Hong Wo Kitchen was in Whampoa Estate. It has changed its name and relocated several times, it is now changed to Hong Wo Kok Restaurant. Does this name imply a higher level?
杏汁白豬肺湯,味道不錯,可以說是好飲。但豬肺是啡啡偏黑的,沒有食,湯是飲了。
Soup of Pig Lung with Almond Sauce is quite tasty, and is definitely not bad. Pig lung pieces are grey to brown colour, I only drink the soup.
乳豬。Roasted Piglet.
乳鴿。不知道怎樣才是好食的乳鴿,每次肉都是霉霉的,乾睜睜的,但亦不知道為什麼這麼多人叫這乳鴿。沒有問,免得掃興。
Roasted Pigeon. I really do not know what should be a delicious roasted pigeon. It is always dry and the meat is not tendered. But there are quite a lot of persons who always order roasted pigeon in dinner. I have not asked this question and do not want to ruin the mood.
蒜蓉蒸帶子,帶子不夠新鮮,水準之下,在小店都是吃到新鮮的,但來這些酒樓就是這樣貨色。
Steamed Scallop with Garlic Paste is below average, scallop is not fresh enough. In small restaurants in other places, we can always eat very fresh scallop, but in this seem-to-be higher class restaurant, scallop of this quality is served.

甚麼甚麼蝦,都不是最新鮮,新鮮很難嗎?在很多小店都可以食到,但這裡就不可以。真神奇。
Forgot the name, but this shrimp is not fresh enough too. Is it very difficult to provide fresh shrimp? I only know in other small seafood restaurants fresh seafood can always be provided.
我們order的不是這個。This is not the menu we ordered.
外觀越來越高檔,但食物質量就往下走,很難做到喔。The outlook is quite high-end, but food quality is inversely proportional.
