電磁波是一種能量，凡是能釋放出能量的物體都會釋放電磁波，一般家庭中最常使用的電視、電冰箱、冷氣、電鍋、吹風機、電鬍刀、電腦、熨斗、音響、手機與烤箱等電器用品，一旦運轉後，就會產生電磁波。這些電磁波會干擾身體細胞，成為健康殺手。

一、免疫系統功能降低：
有研究報告顯示，長期受到電磁波干擾的人，其體內白血球吞噬細菌的百分率和吞噬的細菌數均呈現下降趨勢，而抗體也受到明顯的抑制。

二、中樞神經系統虛弱：
國外實驗結果證明，電磁波會對神經系統造成傷害，讓人體出現神經衰弱症候群，例如頭痛、頭暈、全身無力、記憶力減退、睡眠障礙、易怒、心悸、手腦協調動作差，嚴重者還會罹患失智症。

三、導致不孕症或增高生出畸形嬰兒機率：
長期接觸電磁波，會讓男性生殖器官功能下降，精子數量降低，影響生育能力。女性則易出現月經週期混亂，卵細胞易發生變異等症狀，降低女性生育能力或提高生出先天性畸形嬰兒機率。
