嘉應子，在查之前，都估是一個地方的名稱
嘉應子是廣東嘉應州（現廣東梅州）名產。
化核嘉應子外觀為啡黑色，據稱具開胃、止咳的功效。產品行銷東南亞一帶，是昔日香港常見零食之一。
嘉應子不同陳皮梅，嘉應子以李子加糖、蜜、鹽漬餞而成；陳皮梅以梅子加陳皮、糖、蜜、鹽製成，後者酸味重。
這個嘉應子在買涼茶送的，有沒有計算在價錢內，就不知道。不過，很大機會是自費的。
Preserved plum (Jiayingzi), before looking it up, was probably the name of a place I guess.
Preserved plum is a famous product in Jiaying, Guangdong (now Meizhou, Guangdong).
Seedless Jiayingzi has a brown-black appearance and is said to have appetizing and cough-relieving effects. The products are sold throughout Southeast Asia and were one of the common snacks in Hong Kong in the past.
Jiayingzi is different from Chenpimei. Jiayingzi is made from plums, sugar, honey and salted preserves.
This Jiayingzi was a gift when buying herbal tea. I don't know if it was included in the price. However, most likely it will be included.
